Tourist Guide - School visits

ALL the itineraries (cultural and nature walks) described so far are suitable for school parties visiting the region. The commentary, content and type of exposition will of course be tailored to suit the age of the school children so as not to bore them and to involve them in discovery. The teacher may ask for special themes to be dealt with, such as particular art trends, periods of history or special class topics. For primary school children, I have planned special itineraries.

LESSONS AT SCHOOL

It is possible to plan lessons based on different subjects. Lessons can be followed by a guided tour.

Slides projection is included in each lesson. If pertinent, the operator can wear a period costume.

It is possible to include also "special experiences" like:

  • The Prehistoric way..How did they make it? Helped by an archeo-technician, we will knap a chopping-tool, a biface, a scraper,a blade and we will ignite a real fire
  • Bologna.made of??? Touching of gypsum, clay, sandstone, terracotta
  • Painter's magic box Ancient techniques (fresco, golden leaf, natural colours, etc.); each student will make a "card board" with the old "spolvero" technique
