Duration:
service starts at the established time
HALF DAY:
2.5 hours itinerary. Each extra hour or part of it beyond 3 hours has to be calculated as “extra hour” rate.
FULL DAY:
5 hours itinerary between morning and afternoon with a lunch interruption of 2 hours maximum. Each extra hour or part of it beyond 6 hours has to be calculated as “extra hour” rate.
ATTENTION:
Full day in Bologna: lunch pause is not calculated in the service duration
Full day outside Bologna: lunch pause is calculated in the service duration
MEETING POINT:
ALWAYS the Fountain of Neptune in the middle of Piazza Maggiore, the main square of Bologna, for those without cars or attiving by private cars with driver.
ALWAYS Piazza Malpighi for those arriving by private coach.
Any different meeting point must be agreed with the guide and if it is outside the historical centre (inside the ring of walls) it involves a refund of expense (taxi, fuel, etc)
Meals:
Half Day o Full Day in Bologna:
the guide does not eat together with clients. If the guide is requested during meals the cost will be at client’s charge and the duration will be calculated as service time..
Full day outside Bologna:
the cost of meals will be at client’s charge and duration will be calculated as service time.
Participants:
in case the number of the people who will be actually present was lower then the number reserved, the agreed rate will be applied anyhow
Gratuity:
1 tour leader each 30 people
Cancellations:
cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the tour must be paid 50%, those cancelled in the last 24 hours must be paid 100%
Extras for Festivities:
all services during the following Christian celebrations costs 15% more: December 24, 25, 26, 31 – Easter and Easter Monday – January 1
Payment by bank transfer:
all expenses at client’s charge

all expense for reaching the meeting point. Accomodation and meals where requested
Meals:

the tour manager does not eat together with clients. If the tour manager is requested during meals the cost will be at client’s charge and the duration will be calculated as service time.
Full day outside Bologna:
the cost of meals will be at client’s charge and duration will be calculated as service time.

Cancellations:
cancellations between 72 and 24 hrs before the tour must be paid 50%, those cancelled in the last 24 hrs must be paid 100%.
Tour leading services longer 3 or more days cancelled less than 72 hours before must be paid 100% if they are cancelled between 8 day and 72 hours before must be paid 50%
