GOURMET WALK
A guided cultural tour
(Classical Tour itinerary p. 5)
of the town that focuses on food aspects. During the tour we stop in some ancient food shops and we taste our local products, telling their legends, stories and jokes.
Walking round the medieval market we can taste mortadella, ciccioli, salsiccia passita, chocolate, etc.).
Even if this itinerary is possible 7 days a week I suggest it from Monday to Saturday.
THE ANCIENT TAVERNS IN BOLOGNA
A lovely walk through the ancient pubs in the historical city centre. The presence of university students has helped the opening of this kind of "shops" since the XIIIth Century and also today, among the narrow streets of the medieval town, some XIVth Century pubs are still very crowded. This kind of reality didn't change during the centuries and today, like ever, Bologna night life is peculiar for its vivacity and innovation. It is a pleasant walk during the whole day but it suggested during the evening and the night to taste better the most typical Bologna atmosphere. If you like it is possible to taste some local food products.
PASTA-MAKING: A DEMONSTRATION
Demonstration from the traditional pasta-makers, the "sfogline" of Bologna. With skill and patience, these ladies with their magic touch will teach the curious visitor the secrets of making and rolling out the pasta. As a kind of magic.tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne will appear.

An unforgettable experience amidst one of the area's most attractive settings: a leap back in time.
- Guided tour of the enchanting medieval hamlet of Dozza (the Romanesque church, the village surrounded by the ancient walls and its paved alleys, the imposing castle)
- Wine tasting with professional sommeliers, from the fine "special reserve" wine collection in the vaults of the fortress, and tasting of some local specialities to accompany an aperitif
- Dinner in an attractive restaurant not far from the castle (2 minutes on foot)

Go shopping with the lady of the house and find out how to choose the best products and put together a complete menu, from appetizers to dessert. You'll also learn how to set the table with your own style and enjoy the good foods you've created at lunch/dinner all together. At the same time, enjoy the beautiful setting of a old farmhouse, patrician villa, or noble house.
A REAL COOKERY SCHOOL
An old Bolognese cookery school offers spacious well-equipped working areas and the professional skills of trained teachers. Different teachers will bring their special talents according to the particular dish and the wine being tasted. There will be a brief tasting session or a real meal at the end of every lesson.
Duration: from 4 hours minimum to 5 days course
PRODUCTION FACTORIES: WHERE IT ALL STARTED...
We leave quite early in the morning by private coach/limo to visit a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese dairy to discover all steps of its production. In the large aging cellars we can taste different products.
We continue with the visit of a Traditional Balsamic Vinegar private production located in an amazing 1911 villa where we can taste 12, 25, 30, 50 years old vinegars.
Then we move in a XVIth Century monastery, now a wonderful agriturismo in the middle of nowhere.
There we can taste local award-winning wines. We finish with a WOW lunch, unforgettable.
MEDIEVAL BANQUETS
An unforgettable experience amidst one of the area's most attractive settings: a leap back in time. Guided tour and dinner with Middle Ages dresses. Food will be served in "old style" bowls and light assured by candles and torches. A real leap back in time with a taste of several courses extrapolated from the old records of the castle banquets.
