THE ANCIENT TAVERNS IN BOLOGNA
A lovely walk through the ancient pubs in the historical city centre. The presence of university students has helped the opening of this kind of "shops" since the XIIIth Century and also today, among the narrow streets of the medieval town, some XIVth Century pubs are still very crowded. This kind of reality didn't change during the centuries and today, like ever, Bologna night life is peculiar for its vivacity and innovation. It is a pleasant walk during the whole day but it suggested during the evening and the night to taste better the most typical Bologna atmosphere. If you like it is possible to taste some local food products.
PASTA-MAKING: A DEMONSTRATION
Demonstration from the traditional pasta-makers, the "sfogline" of Bologna. With skill and patience, these ladies with their magic touch will teach the curious visitor the secrets of making and rolling out the pasta. As a kind of magic.tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne will appear.

- Guided tour of the enchanting medieval hamlet of Dozza (the Romanesque church, the village surrounded by the ancient walls and its paved alleys, the imposing castle)
- Wine tasting with professional sommeliers, from the fine "special reserve" wine collection in the vaults of the fortress, and tasting of some local specialities to accompany an aperitif
- Dinner in an attractive restaurant not far from the castle (2 minutes on foot)

You'll also learn how to set the table with your own style and enjoy the good foods you've created at lunch/dinner all together. At the same time, enjoy the beautiful setting of a old farmhouse, patrician villa, or noble house.
A REAL COOKERY SCHOOL
An old Bolognese cookery school offers spacious well-equipped working areas and the professional skills of trained teachers. Different teachers will bring their special talents according to the particular dish and the wine being tasted. There will be a brief tasting session or a real meal at the end of every lesson.
Duration: from 4 hours minimum to 5 days course
PRODUCTION FACTORIES: WHERE IT ALL STARTED...
Proper gourmet wine and food tours around the artisan farms and factories which produce all those specialities that have earned Bologna and Emilia Romagna their reputation as the world's gastronomy capital.
